CONGRATULATIONS MS. CAMPBELL!
A big congratulations to our fabulous speech teacher, Ms. Campbell who is now Mrs. Khandehroo!! Ms. Campbell was married this summer in Mexico to her long-time fiancé. ¡Felicidades!

 

GOODBYE AND GOOD LUCK TO MS. HERNANDEZ

Belvedere would like to wish Ms. Hernandez (Hurtado) the best of luck as she starts her new position as PALS teacher at Cardenas Elementary School in the San Fernando Valley. Ms. Hernandez started her teaching career at Belvedere in the ID class. She will be moving to a school closer to home. She leaves the follow message:

"Thank you Belvedere family for 6 years of amazing memories! I will miss my awesome colleagues, community, parents, and students. I am elated that Ms.Leon will be leading our IDM program! Wishing everyone a school year filled with learning and laughter❤️"

GUESS WHO IS JOINING THE BELVEDERE TEACHING STAFF?
After years of hard work and dedication to the students of Belvedere, Ms. Leon is going to have her own classroom now! Ms. Leon will take over as the ID K-2 teacher in Room 2. She is very familiar with the program and families having been a teaching assistant for that classroom for many years. Ms. Leon lives in the community and has raised 4 incredible Belvedere Bears. Stop by Room 2 and congratulate our newest teacher!

CONGRATULATIONS AND GOOD LUCK MS. PADILLA!
A big CONGRATULATIONS to our talented special education teaching assistant, Ms. Padilla who will be leaving our Belvedere family this year. Ms. Padilla will now be the teacher of a 3-5th SDC (ED) classroom at 118th Street Elementary. She has been at Belvedere for the past 13 years and her daughter is a graduate too. We will miss you Ms. Padilla, but know you will be doing great things in your classroom and be closer to your beautiful family.  Congratulations and best of luck!
